Cubic boron nitride nanoparticles have been recognized for its unique properties and versatility. Boron nitride combines such features as electrical insulation, thermal conduction and high-temperature lubricity. Cubic boron nitride nanoparticles are widely used for high voltage high-frequency electricity, plasma arc's insulators, automatic welding high-temperature coating, high-frequency induction furnace materials, preventing neutron radiation's packing materials, radar's pass box, radar antenna's mediums, rocket engine's components, etc. Because of good lubricating property, also it is used as high-temperature lubricants. Cubic boron nitride nanoparticles are a thermally and chemically resistant refractory compound of boron and nitrogen with the chemical formula BN. Boron nitride exists in multiple forms that differ in the arrangement of the boron and nitrogen atoms, giving rise to varying bulk properties of the material. It exists in various crystalline forms that are isoelectronic to a similarly structured carbon lattice.
