High Thermal Conductivity Graphite Sheet its name from the Greek word “graphein”, to write. The material is generally greyish-black, opaque and has a lustrous black sheen.  It is unique in that it has properties of both a metal and a non-metal.  It is flexible but not elastic, has a high thermal and electrical conductivity, and is highly refractory and chemically inert.

High Thermal Conductivity Graphite Sheet has flexibility and high recovery from compressive stress, which previously unobtainable with existing graphite products. Good matching with counter materials, which make it ideal for use as a sealing material. Thermal and electrical conductivity are excellent parallel to surface as a heat transfer material.

High Thermal Conductivity Graphite Sheet: The high anisotropy of the electrical conductivity in pyrolytic graphite leads to anisotropy of the optical properties. Using polarized radiation, the optical constants, viz. the absorption coefficient and the index of refraction, have been studied over the range from microwave frequencies to the visible by transmission and reflectivity measurements for different crystallographic orientations.
