Urea powder is a raw material for the fabrication of two types of materials such as urea-formaldehyde resins and urea-melamine-formaldehyde utilized in marine plywood. Urea can be employed to synthesize urea nitrate, a high explosive that is used in some improvised explosive devices. It also acts as a stabilizer in nitrocellulose explosives.

Urea powder is applied in the cattle feed and provides nitrogen, which is important in the formation of proteins. It is also utilized as an additive in cigarettes to enhance the flavor and is an indispensable material in the hair removers creams such as Nair and Veet. Urea has applications in cosmetics and paints. It is an important ingredient in some hair conditioners, facial cleansers, bath oils, skin softeners, and lotions.

Urea powder: It is also served as a hydrogen source for power generation in a fuel cell. Urea is applied in topical dermatological products to promote rehydration of the skin. Urea may also be employed for non-surgical debridement of nails. Like saline, urea injection is used to perform abortions and it is also the major component of an alternative medicinal treatment referred to as urine therapy.

Urea powder is a safe, non-corrosive fertilizer substitute for de-icing. The urea powder is easy to use on runways and walkways as well as on landing gears and other vital parts located on the under-carriage of aircraft that must always be protected from corrosion. Airports in many areas that can’t use highly corrosive chloride salts for de-icing operations so they prefer to use urea as an alternative.
