Vanadium micro-powder is a soft, rare, ductile gray-white element and it is combined with certain minerals. It is utilized mainly to produce certain alloys. Vanadium resists corrosion because of a protective film of oxide on the surface. Pure vanadium is a bright white metal and it has good corrosion resistance to alkalis, sulfuric and hydrochloric acid, and saltwater.
Vanadium micro powder: Most of the vanadium formed is employed as ferrovanadium or as a steel additive. Vanadium mixed with aluminum in titanium alloys is applied in jet engines and high-speed airframes.
