Nanoshel Zirconium exhibits excellent resistance to most acids, especially hydrochloric, sulfuric, nitric and aqua regia at normal temperature and is also completely resistance to attack by many molten metals, including sodium, lithium, magnesium, potassium and mercury in temperatures up to 1100ºc (2000ºF)

Salts and their solutions generally do not attack Nanoshel Zirconium unless they are prone to alkaline hydrolysis or contain fluorine ions, chlorides and bromides such as ferric chloride, mercury and stannous chloride up to 175ºc (350ºF).
