Graphite Rod: Pyrolytic Graphite Sheet is a heat spreading material with high thermal conductivity. This material is lightweight and highly flexible. It can be cut into custom shapes, making it extremely useful for applications with limited space. In addition, it has excellent thermal conductivity properties, 600 to 800 W/(m-K), which is twice as high as copper and three times as high as aluminum, PGs are Flexible and easy to be cut or trimmed, Low thermal resistance, Shielding Effect, Maintenance free, Long life, ROHS compliant, light weight and ultra thin.
Graphite Rod: PGS is extremely effective in the development of equipment where temperature control must be attained in a package that is restricted due to downsizing, and where the packaging is lightweight. PGS is an ideal solution where there are I.C. heat sources such as CPUs, processors, power amplifiers, etc. that create hot spots that need to be diffused.
Graphite Rod: PyroliticGraphene has different properties across different planes. In the C plane (across its layer) it has low thermal conductivity, acting as an insulator. In the A-B plane (with the layers) it has very high thermal conductivity, acting as a superb conductor.
Graphite Rod: The high anisotropy of the electrical conductivity in pyrolytic graphite leads to anisotropy of the optical properties. Using polarized radiation, the optical constants, viz. the absorption coefficient and the index of refraction, have been studied over the range from microwave frequencies to the visible by transmission and reflectivity measurements for different crystallographic orientations.
