Nonleafing pigments of Aluminium flakes powder is also preferred for applications requiring excellent adhesion or scratch resistance. They provide a significant improvement in surface properties compared to leafing grades. Aluminium flakes powder is applied in the cosmetic formulations and in the printing inks.
