Oxide Dispersion

Iron oxide nanoparticles dispersions are mostly used in automotive paints and wood finishes. Meanwhile, they are also widely used in the areas of architectural coatings, industrial coatings, powder coatings, art coatings, and cosmetics, etc. The excellent weather fastness, UV absorption properties, high transparency, and color strength make dispersions enrich the colors, increase color shades when combined with organic pigments and dyes and improve the condition of poor weather-fastness when organic pigments and dyes are used alone without transparent iron oxide nanoparticles.

Transparent iron oxide nanoparticles dispersions give the stylist the ability to improve durability, transparency and UV absorption of the paint. So they are widely used in automotive paints and in conjunction with aluminum to produce metallic and golden yellow finishes. At the same time, significant cost benefits by allowing cost-effective color styling’s in combination with more expensive organic pigments can be achieved. Iron oxide dispersions is used in combination with phthalocyanine pigments to achieve gold to green shades, while transparent iron oxide red and brown can be combined to blue shade reds and maroons.

Iron oxide nanoparticles dispersion: There is a growing requirement for the use of iron oxide nanoparticles dispersions in plastic applications. Owing to its properties of high transparency, color strength and strong absorption of UV, when we use them as the coloring matter of transparent plastic containers, they can also work as UV radiation absorber which can protect the goods in the containers from UV radiation. Color masterbatch made by iron oxide nanoparticles dispersions can be used to produce high-quality plastic products.

Iron oxide nanoparticles dispersion: Coatings containing iron oxide nano-dispersions can produce attractive gold and copper effects when applied over metal. Iron oxide pigments are suitable for both exterior and interior coating systems. They also have good potential application in areas of air-dried coating and baking finish because of good color and thermal stability. 

Iron oxide nanoparticles dispersion: The color brightness of water-borne and solvent-borne, iron oxide nanoparticles dispersions is similar to that of organic pigments and transparent dyestuffs, which are suitable for printing of aluminum tube. They may also be used in the preparation of metallic printing inks.
